more friendly and even easier to use than ever!

User Interface
Icon Lock-iT XP is presented with a new user interface. Not
just pretty pictures but great, functional additions:
- Drag and Drop Files and Folders
to be locked or unlocked.
- Select Lock or Unlock files from the start menu.
(This is in addition to the "right mouse click" access.)
- Folder and file selection.
- Administrator set up and configuration.

| Icon Lock-iT XP gives you the flexibility to define who can
do what and when with Icon Lock-iT XP. Define access and use
rights by group or individual user. Select from group or user
lists relating to your computer or network. |

As this screen shot indicates, group and user information
is gathered from your system or network configuration.
One selects from these lists to allow or deny a group
or user permission to use Icon Lock-iT XP. |

Drag and Drop
In addition to pre-selection of files or folders from Explorer
or My Computer, one can drag and drop files or folders to the
Icon Lock-iT User interface.
Once you have selected Icon Lock-iT and the user interface is
active, you can use Explorer or My Computer to select then drag
and drop the selections to Icon Lock-iT XP.
This is a great ease of use assist for you if your locking or
unlocking procedure is complex. As you drop items to Icon Lock-iT
XP, the folder and file list is immediately updated and the
items are prechecked. You may also uncheck any items before
you complete the operation. |
